"The 6-foot-3, 200-pound righty has been waiting a long time to make his full return to the circuit. Well over a year out of Tommy John surgery, Burleson looked really sharp and back to 100% (Up to 87 in 2018). Fastball sat 81-85, Top 87, smooth rhythm, quick arm w/ plenty more in the tank. Best secondary was hard-biting 11/5 curveball (69-71) that’s going to generate a lot of swing n’ misses. Showed ability to throw CH down in zone or miss down w/ slight fade. At the plate, balanced setup w/ great bat speed. Sprayed balls gap-to-gap, consistent hard-contact, can get extra base hits in bunches. Potential collegiate two-way, who is just getting started in 2020."
