Westgate has a good, athletic frame standing at 6-foot-2. He has good balance, with strong hands at the plate. From the mound, Nick pounds the strike zone, has a good feel for his changeup and curveball. He is a mentally tough kid. His Fastball sits upper 70's touching 82 mph with some arm side action. He has been a major part both on the mound and at the plate for the Corning Hawks (13-1) magical season thus far. Westgate could make an impact at a smaller school right away.
