Today’s unsigned senior spotlight is on Tanner Hunsucker. Hunsucker is a left handed hitting outfielder from Waterford HS. Last season Hunsucker led the Wolverines in hitting with a .493 batting average, including 7 doubles and driving in 19 runs on the season. 

Hunsucker is a long gangly athlete, at 6-foot-4, 190-pounds; Hunsucker has a big upside with a projectable frame.  Hunsucker has a long arm action from the outfield which shows some carry and accuracy to his target. At the plate Hunsucker possesses a solid left handed stroke. His long lean frame showed the ability to consistently square up the baseball. Hunsucker showed good bat speed on an efficient path, while exhibiting some pop to his pull side. Overall, Hunsucker is a very projectable athletic outfielder that has a consistent stroke from the left side.

Hunsucker should be the leading offensive threat for the Wolverines again this year as he prepares for his senior campaign.
