Updated Class of 2024 Player Rankings (August)

Thanks to a great spring and summer season, we had the opportunity to see numerous prospects and are updating each of our class rankings based off what we have seen.

Many names came off the board to some of the top programs around the nation, many new names came to the forefront of the recruiting scene, and many prospects improved their game.

That being said, we have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past year. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.

As the school year starts and with fall ball right around the corner, we will take a look at "What's New at the Top”, “The Newcomers", "The Sleepers", and some of the top uncommitted prospects by position.

Who's At The Top?

Another year passes by and we have a very good 2024 class coming out of New England. The class is full of pitching and guys who play in the middle of the field.

  • Maverick Rizy, the UConn commit jumps to the top of the rankings with a strong showing on the summer circuit.
  • Matthew Conte, the Wake Forest commit continues to sharpen his craft.
  • Gabriel Tirado, ranked 3rd, the left-handed hitting catcher can really swing the bat.
  • Michael Yeager, the UVA commit,  holds steady at 4th in the rankings.
  • Drew Smith, the right-hander from Maine, committed to UConn is coming off a superb showing at the Area Codes Games

The NewcomERS

  • Gavin Lyons, the right-hander showed off at the Area Code Games. He is committed to Northeastern and flashes well above average stuff.
  • Aiden O’Connell, the left-hander is headed to Vanderbilt. He had a huge spring and rolled right into a big summer.
  • Henry DiGiorgio, the middle infielder continues to improve his craft, he, too, is headed to Northeastern

The SleepERS

  • Alex Benevento, plus runner, the right-handed hitting outfielder is a guy to keep an eye on.
  • Liam Shea-Gallagher, physical right-handed hitter, keep him on your radar.
  • Jake Haarde, just committed to Penn State, he can really swing the bat.
  • Joseph Zamejtis, the left-hander made another velocity jump this summer, he committed to Maine.
  • Jake Hajdu, slick fielding shortstop was one of my favorite players from last years Future’s team. He is headed to Elon.
