With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Westerville Central Warhawks
Team Name: Westerville Central Warhawks
Head Coach: Jeff Keifer
Division: I
2017 Record: 14-14
Conference Record: Ohio Capital Conference, Buckeye Division, 3rd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3
Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “Encouraged by our returning players, our chemistry, work ethic, and potential. A few question marks at some key positions, but if we get some things to fall in place we can be a team that can compete in our league and the Central District.”
PBR Outlook: With six starters returning from a year ago, the Warhawks and coach Jeff Keifer should be competitive in all games. The Warhawks will look to use a strong senior class to lead them in an always difficult OCC - Buckeye division.
