Four more prospects are off the board



Four more Class of 2012 prospects are off the board:

Robert Nunn, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound RHP from Marian Catholic HS, has committed to Western Illinois University. Nunn, who?s ranked No. 35 in the Class of 2012, impressed at the Prep Baseball Report Top Prospect Showcase in June with easy arm action, projectable frame and 85-87 mph fastball. Nunn is the third player from Marian Catholic to commit already, joining LHP Brett Lilek (Arizona State) and INF Devin Pickett (Iowa).

Tyler Leffler, a RHP/INF from Benton HS, has committed to Bradley University. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Leffler helped Benton rise to one of the top Class 2A programs this season. At the plate, he tallied 15 doubles, 5 homers and 31 RBI while posting a 3-4 record on the mound.

Notre Dame landed its fourth prospect from Illinois when it received a commitment from Providence Catholic LHP Zac Kutsulis. Kutsulis posted a 3-0 record for the Class 4A state runner-up Celtics as a junior. Kutsulis joins Plainfield North RHP Joey Cresta, Maine South OF Kyle Richardson and Marist LHP Mike Hearne as part of the Irish?s recruiting class.

Nick Roscetti, an athletic 6-foot-3, 175-pound SS from Williamsville HS, has committed to the University of Iowa. Roscetti joins Mundelein LHP Ryan Borucki, Simeon C Blake Hickman, and Marian Catholic INF Devin Pickett as part of the Hawkeyes? recruiting class in Illinois.
