Positional Profile: OF/SS - Ultra competitive and athletic. Can play anywhere on the field and hit for average. Body: 5-foot-7, 170-pounds. Stocky, muscular frame and solid build. Present strength throughout. Defense: Chops feet and breaks down with momentum going forwards. Sure handed and takes efficient routes. Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. OF - 87 mph. Quick arm with a straight over the top release that aid carry to the strong throws. Hit: RHH. Slight crouch in the stance, gets in the legs well with hands in a comfortable position. No wasted movement in the barrel. Takes the hands straight through the zone. Power: 94 mph exit velocity. Run: 6.90 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Rhythmic, up tempo, drives through the plate. Arm Action: RH. Brings arm back to the slot calmly and explodes from a high 3/4 slot. FB: T85, 81-85 mph. Gets on hitters quick. Will ride at the top of the zone. SL: 73-75 mph. Short break, cutter like at times. Has depth and late bite when down and away. CH: 73-78 mph. Same arm slot and speed as it plays off the FB well.
10/01/19
5-foot-8, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and shortstop is built with strength throughout his lower, apparent athleticism. Continues to impress offensively with his approach and consistent ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap. Taps into the overall strength of his frame, especially his legs, to drive the ball. Hands work athletically and quickly to get the barrel head out and gain extension through the zone. Great hand eye coordination and feel for the zone allow for him to barrel up pitch after pitch. A must watch at-bat every time he comes to the plate as he can take one deep at any moment. Launched a two-run home run 357 feet, 92 mph exit velocity, on Saturday evening against Georgia Roadrunners.
