6.30.16 - LHP Matt Harsh of Williamsport showed well in his inning of work on the mound pitching 82-84 from his ¾ arm angle. The lefty continued to show good feel for his secondary pitches.


2.21.16 - Solid frame at 5-foot-11, 245-pounds. Loose whippy arm action with quick arm speed. Controlled delivery and could get more backside to get better lower half involvement to release point. Throws from a high ¾ arm angle. Fastball has slight run and sink to the pitch at 82 mph. Breaking ball has hard 1/7 action on the pitch at 62 mph. Throws it with near fastball arm speed. Changeup has fade to the pitch with near fastball arm speed at 68 mph. Nice foundation and pitch ability on the mound.

7.21.15 - Solid Frame at 5-foot-10, 225-pounds.  Throws from a high ¾ arm angle with a fluid delivery.  Slight kick out with lead leg. Has a short and sound arm action with quick arm speed. Pitches slightly across his body.  Level shoulders and pitches with some effort.  Beginning to get some more lower half usage, and should get better as it becomes more fluid. Square finish to the plate. Fastball has slight arm side run to the pitch at 82 mph. Breaking ball had sharp 1-to-7 action on it with near fastball arm speed.  Better command as he got comfortable at 67 mph.  Knuckle ball has late sink to the pitch with near fastball arm speed at 67 mph.
6.30.15 - 5-foot-10 225-pounds.  Pitches from a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action and quick arm speed.  Pitches with some effort and would like to see more lower half usage.  Pitches with some rhythm.  Square landing with an upright finish.  Fastball has late downward action at 82 mph.  Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with sharp and late break at 64 mph.  Knuckleball was inconsistent with near fastball arm speed at 69 mph.
6.24.15 - 5-foot-10 225-pound left handed pitcher.  Throws from a ¾ arm angle at 77-80 mph. Has quick arm speed with a loose arm action. Gets tall and controlled at balance and pitches with regular effort. Has some rhythm in his delivery and has a slight recoil at finish.  Fastball has late run to the pitch.  Breaking ball has 2-to-8 action and has potential to be a power pitch with increased consistency.  Throws a knuckleball with near fastball arm speed and average command.  Front leg works against posture at times in finish causing ball to be up. With the way his arm works should be an interesting 2017 to follow with increased work in the weight room.
