Tyler is 6-4 with a lankier athletic 190 pound frame that has plenty of room to add strength. He hits from the right side from a taller balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, loads back to a slight bar. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, uphill swing path with strength at contact and some extension through the ball, showed a primarily pull approach with the ability to use the whole field, has power present especially to pull side, exit velocity was 93. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, long arm action, position velocity was 79. Showed versatility working out in the infield. Ran a 7.31 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, longer free arm action with some quickness and effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and slightly closed, lands slightly closed with a slight fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 75-79 with downward angle and some late armside run. Curveball was 58-62 with some armspeed and big gradual 11/5 break to it, pitch had some shape. Slider was 65-67 with good armspeed and late 10/4 break to it.

Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, some strength at contact with extension through the ball, slightly uphill swing path, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, some power is present to pull side, exit velocity was 91. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 83. Ran a 7.24 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a slight fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 71-75, touching 76, with some armside run to it. Curveball was 57-60 with gradual 11/5 break to it.
