+ An Oklahoma commit, LHP Tommy Lamb (Grafton HS, WI, 2020) kept the Chicago Scouts Association in the championship game by putting up a couple of zeros out of the bullpen. Lamb, the No. 5 prospect in Wisconsin, has a long, clean arm and was moving his mid-80’s (topped at 87 mph) fastball in and out at the bottom of the zone.

7/11/19

Has been steadily trending up late this spring and into the summer. Lamb tossed a gem in the state Sectional Semifinals and showed more of the same tonight in Mauston for Hitters Baseball. The Oklahoma commit has one of the easiest fastballs in the state and comfortable sat 85-87 mph throughout his outing, touching 87 multiple times in his last several pitches. His best pitch is arguably a plus curveball with swing and miss action on a 1/7 plane, thrown at 77-78 mph. Lamb finished with 10 Ks over five innings in an 8-1 win over GRB Rays Green.

7/30/18 - Lamb an Oklahoma recruit, battled through five-plus innings at OK Limited Series, allowing just two runs in the fifth. His fastball touched 85 mph early on, and settled in at 81-84 as he made big pitches despite not having his best stuff or command. Also exhibiting feel for two different breaking balls, Lamb was able to get big outs when he needed them throughout. His curveball had more gradual, 1/7 break at 67-68 while his slider was sharper at 74-75, and he was able to back-leg it to right-handed hitters.

2/25/18 - Oklahoma commit. 6-foot, 160-pound left-handed pitcher, lean athletic frame. Simple repeatable delivery, stays balanced and on line. Easy arm, long loose arm action, quick arm speed, high ¾ slot. Fastball showed ability to command, 83-85 mph. Curveball plays with depth, 1/7 action, drops for strikes with feel, 68-69 mph. Changeup fades to arm side, above average feel and action, 77-78 mph.

2/4/18 - Verbally committed to Oklahoma.

11/5/17 - 5-foot-11, 155-pound left-handed pitcher. High upside arm who shows plus command with minimal effort. Long high ¾ arm action. Fastball sat 81-84 mph, finished well through the zone, slight arm side action with command. Curveball plays 1/7, 67-71 mph. Straight changeup at 76-78 mph, excellent feel.

3/26/17 - 5-foot-10, 140-pound left-handed pitcher with a lanky, projectable frame. Advanced pitchability. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, loose arm action. Tall and fall delivery with good balance throughout and smooth rhythm. Fastball sat 79-81 topping out at 82 mph. Curveball showed 1-7 and 2-8 shape with sharp breaking action at 66-67 mph.

2/26/17 - 5-foot-10, 140-pound lanky left-handed hitting LHP/OF. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a loose, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery with a high front side and easy effort. Works in line with home plate with a square landing, smooth rhythm, and an athletic finish. Good balance throughout delivery.
