Ryan O'Hearn, 2B, 2014 ... Committed to Hillsdale.
Derich Weiland, 3B/RHP, 2014 ... Committed to University of Toledo for football.
DeShone Kizer, LF, 2014 ... Talented QB who is committed to Notre Dame for football. Will be in the middle of the lineup.

Cameron Best, RHP, 2015 ... Big upside.
Colin Kaucher, C/INF/OF, 2015 ... Very athletic three sport athlete.

OUTLOOK:  

Coach Jeff Mielcarek and the Toledo Central Catholic Irish finished last year on as high of a high and on as low of a low possible. They went on to win the TRAC tournament, which is held at the end of the season and is as big as the OHSAA tournament in some senses to people in the TRAC. The low was losing in heartbreaking fashion against the eventual division II state champions, Defiance as seen here. In 2014 the Irish move up to division I and hope to make an immediate impact with senior laden team led by Chad Kuebler, Kameron Weber, Ryan O'Hearn, Derich Weiland, DeShone Kizer and Richard O'Donnell. The Irish have a couple of intriguing 2015 prospects in Colin Kaucher and Cameron Best.
