Since our launch in April of 2014, Prep Baseball Report Colorado continues to be your No.1 source for Amateur baseball in Colorado. Over the years nationally, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state we are in, which is now up to 38 states. 5-foot-11, 175 mounds. Bats and throws right. Balanced stance at plate, body and hands load back together with some rhythm, leg kick stride. Good bat speed in zone with slightly uphill swing. Wants to dive out at ball. Produced an 87 mph exit velocity off the tee but played faster in live round. At SS shows quick feet and hands. Good actions. Gains ground on throws to 2B. Arm is quick out of glove from different angles depending on location in infield. Threw 82 mph across the diamond. Ran a 4.13 home to first. Solid prospect.
8-6-16
5-foot-11, 175-pounds. Bats and throws right. At the plate he hits from an open slightly crouched stance with a slight leg kick. Good lower half rotation and rhythm. Hands and body rock back then jumps out at ball a tad, produced a 87 MPH exit velocity off the tee. However shows plus power in games. Drove a ball deep over left field scoreboard. Bat stays in hitting zone a long time. In the field shows good actions. He has smooth glove glove to hand transaction and gets rid of the ball quickly. He showcased an 82 MPH arm with accuracy. Ran a 7.3 laser timed 60, and we had him at a 4.13 home to first in game.

5-foot-11, 170-pound right hand hitter who ran a 4.39 home to first. At the plate he hits from an open crouched stance with a short stride to get square. Good hip rotation and long arms through the zone produce an 87 MPH exit velocity. He finishes high with one hand. In the field he shows good feet and range. He has smooth glove actions and gets rid of the ball quickly. He showcased an 82 MPH arm with accuracy.
8-8-15
5-foot-11, 165 pounds. Bats and throws right. Merone showed some real good skills over the weekend. At the plate hands start high with smooth load and slight leg kick. Hands are quick to the ball and generates good bat whip through the ball with one hand high finish. Bat is in the hitting zone a long time, producing gap to gap power. Had a 85 mph exit velo off the tee. On defense projects as a future shortstop. Very good range to both sides, and quick hands with release. Has arm strength and threw 81 mph across the diamond. Ran a 7.60 60.
