Little Rock Christian 3 vs Farmington 2

Little Rock Christian defeated Farmington 3-2 to complete the sweep of the Cardinals on the road in 5A West Conference play.

The game was a pitching duel between 2017 RHP Tyler Gregg and the Little Rock Christian pitching staff.

Gregg threw 7 innings with 12 strike outs, scattering 5 hits allowing 3 earned runs. Little Rock Christian used three pitchers in 2016 LHP Adam Smith, 2016 RHP Will Clark and 2016 Dylan Hays. The staff scattered four hits and allowed 2 earned runs. Hays was dominate in his two innings of work striking out 4.

Offensively Little Rock Christian received a balance attack from the offense receiving production from 5 different players, a highlight was 2016 RHP/CIF Dylan Hays opposite field home run in the first. As he did on the mound Tyler Gregg carried the load offensively going 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.

Little Rock Christian placed themselves out front in the 5A West going on the road to win 2. Vilonia sweep their series as well. Morrilton and Greenbrier split and Harrison defeated Pulaski Academy in non-conference play. Maumelle was idle.
