Future Games Invite Accepted

PBR Future Games is set for July 29th-Aug 1st

Prep Baseball Report's one-of-a-kind event will feature the best uncommitted 2022 prospects and select 2023 prospects from our 40-plus state coverage area. The Future Games will take place on Wednesday, July 29th through Saturday, August 1st at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. 

The Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for Class of 2022 prospects and select 2023 prospects. Last year, more than 320 college coaches from all over the country were in attendance. The Prep Baseball Report services are subscribed by more than 800 colleges and pro scouts.

Players will also receive maximum visibility from college coaches all over the country, in addition to being promoted through the Prep Baseball Report multimedia platforms. 

Each state team will play three games. On Wednesday, all position players will be put through a showcase workout in which they will run 60s, take batting practice and be evaluated at their primary position. 

'22 SS Demetrio Crisantes of Nogales High School joins Team Arizona for the 2020 PBR Future Games.

2022 Shortstop, Demetrio Crisantes was a standout back in January at our Preseason All-State Games at Arizona State. He has also had a hot start to the 2020 spring season. Crisantes has been hitting out of the lead-off spot for a strong Nogales team that is looking to finish on top this year in 5A. Nogales High School is your 5A Runner-up from 2019. 

Crisantes is large, athletic framed player that shows future projection. Currently, has an above average hit tool. From a quiet pre-pitch, he shows aggressiveness with bat speed, creating a mid/pull approach. Above average pop, recording consistent low 90mph exit velocities. In addition to his strong bat, his arm is what gives him an edge at SS as he currently has slightly above average lateral movements and glove work. He's showed an accurate arm with carry at the position, throwing in the high 80's across the diamond. He ran a 7.02 60-yard dash at our last event and should improve as he gets more mature physically. Demetrio Crisantes is going to be a great addition to Team Arizona and we are looking forward to having him in Georgia for our PBR Future Games.
