The Prep Baseball Report MN Top Prospect Games event took place on Monday and Tuesday, June 18 & 19, 2018. The event was held at Veteran's Field at Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, MN. The event featured prospects from the 2019 grad class; and included many breakout performances from this year's participants. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and 68 college coaches in attendance.

There were a number of great individual performances this year at the MN Top Prospect Games.

As we drill down into the statistics:

+ 65 players ran sub-7.2 60's.
+ 58 players recorded 85+ mph exit velocities
+ 22 players recorded 80+ mph infield throws
+ 9 players recorded 80+ mph outfield throws
+ 20 catchers recorded 70+ mph throws to second base
+ 14 catchers recorded sub-2.1 pop times
+ 48 pitchers were 80+ mph on the mound

Good frame with present strength, Tall stance, high back elbow, stiffness in lower half, avg. pop in bat, spray contact, gap to gap approach, 81 mph exit velocity. Evan Brown, C, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, 2019
5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher. #119 ranked player in MN 2019 class. 7.4 runner. Square stance, easy leg kick trigger, line drive swing, short to contact, works middle of field, line drive hitter, 82 mph exit velocity.
