MoKan Top Prospect Games Leaderboard

PBR covered the very talented MoKan Top Prospect Games on June 22nd at Creekside Baseball Park in Parkville Missouri. The event featured top players from the 2022 graduating class. The players listed below are only the players from the event that chose to upgrade to a PBR profile. See all of the numbers from the event, here.

The event featured multiple fast twitch athletes as there were 12 sub 7.0 60 times, with 2022 Caiden Otte leading all players with a blazing 6.57 60 yard dash.  2022 Drew Lippold earned the second fastest 60 of the day at 6.77.

Off of the tee, there were 22 exit velos at 85+, 11 at 90+, and 3 above 95. 2022 grad Ethan Edinger led all swingers, boasting a 97 mph exit velo off the tee. The second highest exit velo of the day belonged to 2022  Jeremy Sheffield, who hit 95 mph off the tee.  Edinger and Sheffield each had impressive days at the plate during the scrimmage, with multiple extra base hits to all sides of the field.

Defensively, there were some big arms from the infield and outfield. 2022 Jake Daneff, who is also an elite pitcher, impressed as he, 2022 Dylan Grego, and Ethan Edinger led all infielders at 85 mph.  In the outfield, it was 2022 Wyatt Foley, Jeremy Sheffield , and Caiden Otte leading the way at 89.

Behind the dish, there was an abundance of talent with 2022 Jack Nelson throwing 74 from the crouch and the fastest pop time of the event at 1.89. 2022 Nathan Hall was close behind as he threw 74 to second base with pop times as low as 1.91.  Four catchers posted sub 2.0 pop times. 

On the mound, Jake Daneff was electric at 85-88 while showing a developed slider and continued command in the zone. 2022 Jack DuMont was up to 87 and displayed control of secondary pitches.  Wyatt Foley also touched 87.  In total, there were seven arms that were 85 plus.
