Scouting Report
2018 PBR Future Games - Team Pennsylvania
8.19.18 - 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed hitter picked up right where he left off following an impressive showing as a member of Team Pennsylvania at the PBR Future Games. Seibert went 3-for-7 with a pair of runs scored and stole a base during three games. The physical backstop also showcased advanced arm strength with consistent pop times that hovered around 2.0 between innings.
4.26.18 - 6-foot-1, 205-pound backstop looks like he has grown since we saw him in January. Above average arm strength behind the dish led to 2.08-2.15 pop times between innings on this date. Receiving skills are still a bit raw, but advanced foot speed gives him the option to move out from behind the plate if necessary. Simple, repeatable swing mechanics should give him a chance to be consistent at the plate. Barreled baseballs for a double and a line out to left field in two of his three at bats.
1.28.18 - 6-foot-1, 205-pounder with an advanced frame is athletic in all his actions. Began his impressive day by running a 6.80 60-yard dash. The backstop showcased pop times of 2.00-2.06 on throws of 77 mph from the crouch with a clean transition and quick feet. Throws had good carry and were consistently on the bag. Quiet receiver handled elevated velocity well in bullpen session and presented a soft wall when blocking. Right-handed hitter put together one of the top rounds of batting practice over the course of the two day event. Starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Showcased balance throughout and present power to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 95 mph. Was added to the Team Pennsylvania roster for the 2018 PBR Future Games shortly after the completion of the event.
