OK Fall Underclass Games: Pitcher's Data Dive

Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma hosted the Fall Underclass Games this past Sunday October 23rd at Oral Roberts University. The field was loaded with talent all over the place with prospects coming from the 2024 class to the 2027 class. The event featured a full tech experience with laser timed 60's, Blast Motion sensors, and Trackman capturing all the hitting and pitching data. Today we take a deeper dive into the analytics on the pitchers from the event with data collected by Trackman. We are able to take a closer look into what makes each pitch effective that might not be able to be seen by the naked eye. We jump into the top velocities, spin rates, horizontal breaks, and induced vertical breaks on the top fastballs, curveballs, and sliders from the event.
