SEASON OUTLOOK

The 2018 Wildcats put together a very impressive fall and by the end of it, they were a squad nobody wanted to match up against. Quite possibly the most experienced team in the state at any level, Fletcher returns nine starters and five arms with more than 15 innings from a year ago, including seniors leaders Tyler Smith, Dan Campbell, Dustin Waldorf, and Zane Hawk. The Wildcats will also likely get solid products form newcomers Cameron Funkhouser and Travis Black.

Offensively, junior Carson Funkhouser will likely lead the way for Fletcher again, building on impressive power numbers from last fall. Smith and Waldorf will also likely be big contributors with the bat.

On the mound, Carson Funkhouser will again play a major role as a power arm for the Wildcats. He will be joined by Caleb Amparan, Zane Hawk who round out a strong starting rotation.

Defensively, the shortstop, Amparan, will be the player to watch for the Wildcats quarterbacking the defense from the middle of the infield.
