Below we will take a look at “What’s New At The Top”, “Rising Prospects”, and some of the top uncommitted prospects.

The updated Class of 2017 rankings have been released in advance of the Fall Finale Open ID (10/23) which kicks off the start of the winter indoor schedule of events. What's New At The Top

Landon LeachThe top two spots are consistent with Shortstop and Texas A&M commit Adam Hall and uncommitted right-hander Landon Leach (pictued right). Hall has made the rounds this summer, showcasing himself at the East Coast Pro event, as well as the Area Code Games where he went 4-10 with a home run.

Leach has shown what he is capable of this summer, as he touched 94 mph in June, and his 80-83 mph slider has improved as well.

Uncommitted shortstop Dondrae Bremner has jumped a spot to number three. Bremner has improved his 60 as his best and most recent time is 6.70. Fluid actions defensively, Bremner is a left-handed bat that has had bright moments with the National Team during the summer.

The biggest riser is 2017 catcher and Polk State commit Mitch Osborne to the sixth spot in the rankings. Osborne owns the strongest arm in his class, and has added size at plate to show power from the right-side.

THE NEWCOMERS

Darren DwyerIn addition, new players in the top 120 are a few 2016 grads who are now classified as 2017’s. Right-handers Darren Dwyer (pictured right) and Justin Snow, as well as left-hander Jack Anderson are all solid arms with experience and pitchability, while all have been in the mid to high-80s with their fastballs.

Infielder Daniel Warkentin had a strong summer at the plate while Dreyden Sloat jumped out with his left-handed bat and 60 time of 7.10. Athletic speedster Rashad Collymore joined the rankings, the switch hitter had standout 60 times and the strength and athletic ability is intriguing.
