PBR Nebraska Player of the Year: Max Anderson

The 2019 spring high school season in Nebraska generated some incredible individual moments and performances throughout all corners of the state. As the spring high school season comes to a close, Prep Baseball Report is excited to announce one player who emerged ahead of the competition at all levels in the state of Nebraska. This player has been selected not only for their outstanding statistical numbers, but also for their overall effect on their high school program.



MAX ANDERSON

High School: Millard West

Position: SS

Size: 6-foot, 185 pounds

Commitment: Texas A&M


Anderson led Millard West HS to its first NSAA Class A State Championship.  At the plate, the statistics were consistent across the board while hitting in the middle of the order for the Wildcats. In 102 at bats, Anderson hit .353 with 36 hits, 10 home-runs and 28 RBIs while manning the middle of the infield and occasionally closing on the mound. 

Max Anderson's all-around performance, as well as the impact he has had on Millard West High School, has earned him the 2019 Prep Baseball Report Nebraska Player of the Year honors. Anderson has been selected by the staff of Prep Baseball Report of Nebraska. The Prep Baseball Report staff has been diligently scouting and covering baseball games at baseball diamonds across the state this spring to bring parents, athletes and fans the most comprehensive coverage of amateur baseball across the United States.
