CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: High motor prospect with signs of baseball IQ. Loved his defensive actions in the OF and how fluid he was from start to finish. The bat plays already and there's still time to get physical. The mound is intriguing with with his size. There's evidence of advanced feel for both his fastball and CB, with premium hand-speed. Overall, this is a special prospect that will help any program at the next-level.

SCOUTING REPORT: Compact, physical 5-foot-7 167 pound OF/1B/LHP who ran a 7.49 60 from the left side. Offensively- Open setup; pre-pitch bat waggle; aggressive lower half with lightning quick hands into the zone. Shows some pop to pull side with line drive results through the middle. Exit velocity was 89 MPH. Defensively- Controlled approach in the OF; proper crowhop that allows for body to turn and get into throwing position while keep arm action long. Plenty of carry at 86 MPH, needs to repeat release point. Can be very accurate. On the infield hands work out in front, bends at the waist with a quick start to the double play. Will need more polish around the bag but has the right idea. Was 77 MPH on throws to 3B. Pitching- Impressive effort on the mound sitting 82-84 MPH with some arm side life to FB. Controlled pace with a long arm action from a 3/4 slot. Works from the glove side of the rubber; late fade and sink to change up at 73-74. Some slurve/slider feel to breaking ball at 69-70 MPH. Impressive dual prospect.
