On Saturday February 16th and February 23rd PBR Maryland will host the Preseason All-State at the Harford Sports Performance Center in Forest Hill, MD. The biggest events prior to the high school season in Maryland will feature several of the top players and prospects from around the state and put them all on one stage in front of the PBR scouting staff. As with all PBR events, all players will get their performance videoed and professionally edited to update or start their PBR Profile. Today we spotlight one of the players on the roster for the event.

MD Top Prospect Games II 8.8.18
Big, solid body type and projectable 6-foot-3, 190 pound frame. Hits from a taller, balanced, open stance at the plate. Nice separation with a longer stride. Uses some lower half in swing, still room for more. Strong upper body and quick hands creating fast bat speed. Shorter, level swing path with an exit velo of 87 mph. Gap-to-gap type hitter with present power. Plays with active feet and works through the ball in the outfield with a quick, clean exchange. Shorter arm action throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot at 78 mph. Ran a 4.49 home-to-first time.
MD Future Games Trials 6.27.18
Projectable, big, solid body type and 6-foot-3, 190 pound frame. Hits from an open stance at the plate. Creates very nice separation with a longer stride. Uses some lower half in swing, still room for more. Strong upper body and quick hands creating fast bat speed. Shorter, level swing path with an exit velo of 86 mph. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some power evident. Plays through the ball in the outfield with a quick, clean exchange. Shorter arm action throwing from a high three-quarters arm slot at 74 mph. Ran a 5.20 home-to-first time. Plays with active feet and works through the ball at first base. Short arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot at 67 mph.
Athletic 6-1, 175-pound frame. Hits from a slightly open set up at the plate. Shorter rockback load with slight arm bar . Level path with nice bat speed and room for more. Got around ball at times and could get more lower half involvement throughout contact. Shows some pop and should get some more as he frees up hands in swing through contact. Exit velo of 80 mph. Sound actions in the outfield with position velo of 68 mph. Clean hands and exchange round the bag at first. Sound fundamentals, like to see more fluidness to actions. Infield velo of 67 mph. Nice foundation in 2021 class.
