RHP / OF / SHADOW RIDGE, NV / 2024

Somers has had his breakout campaign in his junior season, producing impressive wins in each of the games we have been out to see the Mustangs this Spring. The right hander produced arguably the most dominant performance of the year, going the distance with his fastball / curveball mix that featured some slider action when thrown away to right handed hitters. His ability to move each his pitches effectively around the zone helped him produce his 15 strikeout performances of the 23 batters faced, allowing zero runs and only two hits against a lineup with impressive bats, in Sierra Vista. This is a prospect who has emerged as one who would be able to continue this success at the next level.
