- 8:00 AM Game Times - 
Team Easton vs. Bodyshop Baseball

~ Player Notes ~

Tanner Outzs (OF, Saluda, 2023) - LH thrower RH Hitter. Good cuts with aggressive confidence in the barrel. Runs well with easy effort. Picked up a hit to drive in the first run for Bodyshop Baseball.
Harrison Estes (C, Palmetto, 2022) - athletic catcher with a low set up behind the plate. Handled multiple offerings well with quiet hands that, at present, are strong enough to handle pitches inside the shoulders as well as at the edges of the zone. Gunned down a would be runner with a quick release and accurate throw. 

Summerville Baseball Club vs. Pro Fit Spartans

~ Player Notes ~


Jake Andrews (RHP, North Stanly, 2022) - turned in a quality start for his team throwing 4 and 1/3 innings and scattering 2 runs, while striking out 3. FB was consistent at 72 with good location to both sides of the plate. 

Tyler Hansen (2B, Summerville, 2023) - lanky infielder with long legs. Worked the hands through the inside half of the ball and drove a line drive to CF for an RBI single.

TPA Nationals 16u  vs Driven Baseball 

~ Player Notes ~

Edward Whittemore (RHP, Fort Dorchester, 2021) - 6-5 207lbs lands slightly closed of his line. Large frame made it tough to consistently feel release point. Overcame some control issues. FB 71-72 CB 64 Two scoreless innings to start the game before running into trouble in the 3rd.

Stephen Holland (RHP, Middle Creek, 2021) - 6-3 275lbs forceful delivery from a thick frame. H3Q arm slot. FB 77-79 CB 69 Two scoreless innings to start the game. 

RBI Reds vs. KBC Blue

~ Player Notes ~

Luke Vick (OF, Floyd Central, 2021) - Turned on pitch and drove it into the RCF gap for a triple. Line drive bat path with confident feel for the barrel. Easy turns around the bases and long stride. 

Lucas Litteral (LHP, Magoffin County, 2021) - LHP with whip 3Q arm action and heavy tendencies to the FB. SL showed 2/8 shape. FB ranged from 75 -78 early with the breaking ball landing at 64. 

 

Vincent Ethington (3B, Lexington Christian, 2021) - broad shoulders and wide through the hips with a thick lower half. Muscled the ball through the zone and showed the ability to stay behind the ball driving a double deep to LF.

TPA National 17u vs. SBA Futures

~ Player Notes ~ 

Ben Peterson (RHP, Apex, 2020) -  6-3 200lb frame with durable lower half. Good tempo in the delivery which he repeated well in the first inning. Pounded the strike zone early with a 89-90 mph FB and a 76-78 mph SL. 

 

Gabriel Brewington (RHP, Corinth Holders, 2020) - physical RHP with athletic upside. Frame will support additional develop and add velocity to an already quick arm. FB carries life through the zone at 85-86 t87. 

 

 

Gem City Throwbacks vs. Illinois Crush 

~ Player Notes ~

Michael Bunch (OF, Romeoville, 2020) -continued to impress with a short swing and good raw power diving the RCF gap for a triple. Also maintained his plate discipline he has shown throughout drawing 3 walks. 

Will Rahe (2B, Centerville, 2020) - smaller profile with good actions, hasn't reached his athletic ceiling. Tripled to RF to pick up 3 RBIs for Gem City.

Griffin Springer (RHP, Romeoville, 2020) - strong 6-0 profile with square shoulders and thick build. Scattered 8 hits and 4 runs across 5 innings with 5 Ks.

Karolina Kraken vs. SBC 15u 

~ Player Notes ~

Kolton Scott (OF, Mt. Pleasant, 2023) - 5-10 130lb profile with frame that will support additional development giving him some upside. Doubled to RF in his first AB. 

Will Osborn (OF, Summerville, 2023) - picked up two hits and drove in a run with an RBI single. 

Alex Wellman (OF, Summerville, 2024) -  5-7 120lb OF added two hits and an RBI for his team. 

SC United vs. Bodyshop Baseball

- 5:00 PM Games - 

D-Bat Elite SC vs. KBC Blue

~ Player Notes ~

Carter Ruffner (OF, Madison Central, 2021) - slight profile but good athletic build. Efficient outfielder with good routes and jumps on the ball. Used the tools to find a way to get on base and spark the offense for his club. Showed good bat to ball skills and the ability to steal bases. 

 

 

Driven Baseball vs. SC Braves

~ Player Notes ~

Donavan Accerbi (RHP, Fort Dorchester, 2021)  - turned in a quality start to keep his team in it. Scattered 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits and struck out 4 in 4 innings of work.

Brad Rivera (OF, Providence Day, 2021) - singled and drove in a run. 5-9 145lbs with a medium small frame. Good motor and current athletic ability give him some upside as he matures.
