Top 10 Profiles of 2022: No. 6 Dylan Questad
December 23, 2022
Today we will continue our ‘End of the Year’ countdown, highlighting the most viewed player profiles in Wisconsin from this year. We’ll be working our way to the top spot, starting with No. 10 and releasing the most viewed name on New Year’s Eve.

At the No. 6 spot in our most viewed profiles of 2022 is the top ranked player in the states ‘23 class, RHP Dylan Questad (Waterford, 2023; Arkansas commit). Ever since our first look at Questad way back in 2019, our staff has felt that he is a top prospect in the state, but over the past couple of years Questad may have even exceeded our expectations of him. Over the course of 2021, it seemed that Questad kept gaining more and more velocity with each and every look we got at him, and he topped somewhere around the low-90s, which helped him attain the illustrious No. 1 spot in our state’s ‘23 rankings. Even after some big velocity jumps in 2021, Questad came out firing during his first start of the year for his Waterford squad during the spring season and reached highs of 96 mph over the course of his shortened start. Despite this start coming off an injury, he showcased improved feel for his two different breaking balls and a swing-and-miss changeup.

Questad’s strong showings throughout the year did not stop there though, he attracted eyes all across the summer circuit. One of his most impressive performances came at the national level during the Area Code Games in August where he joined some of countries top-talent to showcase their talents during a five-game span. Despite him going up against some of the best talent the country has to offer, he did much more than hold his own and his performance there was one of the biggest takeaways for our PBR National Staff. Here is what they had to say regarding his outing at the Area Code Games...
“Eyes were certainly fixed on RHP Noble Meyer (Jesuit HS, OR; Oregon commit) in the first game of the event, but RHP Dylan Questad (Waterford HS, WI) stole the show, striking out six over three perfect innings. The Arkansas recruit induced weak contact early with a heavy fastball that sat 94-96 mph, then started racking up swings and misses. The curveball was inconsistent, coming up and out of his hand and showing early break at times, but it did flash above average. He also mixed in a running changeup at 83-84.”
After his “show stealing” pitching performance there, Questad earned Pitcher of the Week honors and solidified himself as a premier arm, not only in the state but the country and is now slotted at No. 67 overall in our class of 2023 national rankings as a result. Still with one more year of high school left, Questad has already left his mark inside the state’s senior class and is certainly a name our staff is excited to keep tabs on whether it is at Arkansas or at the professional-level.
