Uncommitted Spotlight: '21 Kaiden Regan

Kaiden Regan is a stout built first baseman for McQueen that has big time power potential to the pull side that produced one of the best round at the Northern Nevada Scout Day. The 6-foot-2, 210 pound lefty-lefty produced multiple no-doubt blasts earlier this year at our event held at Reed High and carried that success into his shortened high school season where he was off to a solid start hitting over .300 with a homerun and a six RBI's in just five games. He lived mostly to the pull side throughout his round, but could see his stock improve if he develops a consistent ability to drive the ball towards the opposite field. Additional to his ability at the plate, Regan also shows comfort around the bag at first base with clean actions throughout his fielding process. This is a player to keep you eye on as he could continue to progress a prospect and we are looking forward to tracking his improvements at the upcoming Upperclass Top Prospect Games. 

Kaiden Regan - Player Profile

Positional Profile: 1B. Lefty-lefty with big power potential and comfort around the bag.
Body: 6-foot-2, 210 lbs. Strong, stout build. Moves well for his size. 
Defense: 1B. Clean throughout the fielding process. 
Arm: LH. 1B - 72. Short, quick arm action. 3/4 to high 3/4 arm slot. Accurate.
Hit: RHH. Athletic, squared set up. Minimal pre-pitch movement. Sinks into his back side with a small hovering leg kick. Swing initiates on foot strike. He produces excellent bat speed with an efficient path. Two-handed, shoulder high finish. Maintains quality balance throughout.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. 
Run: 7.34 runner

UPPERCLASS TOP PROSPECT GAMES

An INVITE ONLY event featuring top 2021 prospects from around the state. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 7 - Wednesday, July 8 at UNLV Players will participate in a pro-style workout, followed by simulated game-play. 

The event is limited in the number of participants.  Pitchers will be evaluated/videoed during live game action. Rosters will be organized/built by specific positions to maximize playing time/exposure for each player. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, please get your registration in as soon as possible, as roster spots are limited, both by total quantity and by position.
