Byran Engelsen, LHP/OF, Rockford Boylan HS
The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder proved to be a solid two-way talent during the Fall Prospect Program. The left-hander showed feel for three pitches, including an easy fastball that topped at 80 mph. He operates from a high-3/4 arm slot and his arm works free and easily. He also commands an 11/5 breaking ball at 68 mph and a changeup that sat around 72 mph.

As a position player, Englesen has an accurate arm in the outfield and was clocked at 78 mph from the position. Offensively, the left-handed hitting Englesen has a short stride and is able to square up balls with consistency. He also ran a 7.27 60.
