Scouting Report

2/12/17 5-foot-11, 195-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to start his swing. Minor adjustments in transition would lower times. Quiet receiver presents a soft wall when blocking.

10/29/16 5-foot-10, 185-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and uses a pronounced lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing from a high hands load. Displayed a solid feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 86 mph. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash and registered pop times of 2.19-2.32 on throws of 70 mph from the crouch. Quiet receive impressed with above average receiving skills during the bullpen phase of his workout.

8/18/16 Solidly built 5-foot-10, 185-pound backstop flashed a clean transition and quick release with 70 mph arm strength out of the crouch (2.06-2.15 pop times). Right handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a short lift-and-replace stride. Showcased some length to his swing with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Stays behind baseball well and displays strength in his lower half with the ability to get to full extension with regularity. Showcased some present pull-side power with a solid feel for the barrel.

6/24/15 5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitter. Started from an open stance and strode on his toe with a knee roll to slightly closed. Cast his hands creating some length and loop to swing.
