Scouting Report

9/22/19: 5-foot-10, 170-pound outfielder. Offensively, begins in a an open stance, loads back with a slight drop in hands. Uses a short stride to initiate his swing. Short, compact swing path, above average bat speed. From the outfield throws topped out 82 mph;displayed fluid footwork and a clean exchange. Longer, high 3/4 arm action with accuracy to the bag. 7.15 runner in the 60. Hit .353 with seven doubles, four triples and 22 RBI while also swiping 11 bags as a Junior at HSE. 


2/16/2019: Cole Dewael, OF/LHP, Hamilton Southeastern HS, 2020, 5 foot 10, 170 pounds, showed barrel consistency and balance throughout his simple left handed swing. Very repeatable swing with good flow and barrel angle, and should progress nicely as body continues to fill out. Cole ran a 7.22 60 and also threw 78 mph from the outfield with good footwork and a short arm swing.
