TOP 3 OVERALL

Slade Caldwell OF / LHP / Valley View, AR / 2024

Caldwell solidified his state and national ranking at the Preseason All-State event where he showed off some of the flashier tools in the area.  Even with his leaner frame Caldwell is able to generate a ton of juice using his elite bat speed and continued to show off his overall athleticism as a 6.5-6.6 runner.  The Ole Miss commit continues to impress every time we see him.

Ross Felder RHP / SS / Har-ber, AR / 2024

Felder has one of the more athletic and projectable builds at the top of this class and continues to make jumps on both sides of the ball.  He has been collecting hits with his short and compact stroke for Har-Ber as well as continues to see the fastball play up at a high level.  Look for the Arkansas commit to continue to make big strides on both sides of the ball as he gains more experience and strength. Pitchability already provides major upside for Felder has he continues to fill out his athletic frame.

Tag Andrews RHP / OF / Maumelle, AR / 2024

Andrews has been a well-known name around the state for a couple years and only continues to show improvement each time out.  Andrews will work the FB in the upper 80's with good life and has shown a feel for a swing a miss slider at times.  The Arkansas commit looks to be a mainstay at the top of the rankings as he finishes out his high school career.

TOP RISERS

Kel Busby RHP / 3B / Pulaski Academy, AR / 2024

Busby sees a rise in the rankings to #5 showcasing one of the quicker arms in the State throughout the spring.  Busby already has the physical build with athleticism and will pump the fastball in the 88-92 range.  He also will flash a very hard 78 mph curveball with some good depth and spin.  Busby also shows his athleticism as one of the top QB recruits in the area as well.

Steele Eaves C / RHP / Lonoke, AR / 2024

Eaves' versatility and progress made on the mound shot him up to number 16 in the rankings.  Eaves has spent time both behind the plate this spring as well as logging in some time at third.  Where he has really turned heads is on the mound where he works the mid 80's fastball with solid command and pairs it with a tight upper 70's slider with good action and shape. He also has one of the top arms in the state behind the plate as he is a legitimate two way candidate. Simple repeatable swing gives a lot to like our of Eaves moving forward.

Gavin Kelley OF / RHP / Benton, AR / 2024

At 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds, Kelley shows the projectable build to go along with strong tools to make big jumps in the future.  He swings the bat with strong leverage using his middle of the field and line drive approach.  He is also running sub 6.9 in the 60 and shows one of the better outfield arms and actions in the state for the 2024 class.

TOP UNCOMMITTED

Meyer Maddox OF / LHP / Jonesboro , AR / 2024

Maddox checks in at number 11 in the rankings as he continues to show an advanced approach at the plate and very good barrel control.  Maddox has a very short and compact stroke and works the hands inside the ball very well making him a true line to line threat.  He also possesses some of the top bat speed in the state to go along with feel for hands working through the zone.

Aden Velasquez SS / RHP / Cabot, AR / 2024

Velasquez checks in at number 12 in the State rankings as he has been collecting hits in bunches as of late as well as providing Cabot some solid starts on the mound.  Velasquez uses his long and lean 6-foot-3 and 165-pound frame to swing with strong leverage from a narrow base and shows smooth actions in the middle of the diamond with good bounce and range.

Webb Watson OF / 1B / Central Arkansas Christian, AR / 2024

Watson already has one of the more physical builds in the State and does a good job of using his strong lower half from the left side of the plate.  He has shown easy pull side pop so far in his young career and also has some sneaky athleticism.  Look for Watson to continue to make strides at the plate with already some of the better strength at contact and quick hands through the zone.
