The 2019 class in Florida has another group of high-end talent, with potentially five Day one players in the high school class. There has been a lot of movement overall, but some small tweaks here and there have been made to those sitting at the top of the state. Riley Greene now takes over the top spot as he continues to prove early this spring that he is not only just the best bat in the state, but one of the best bats in the country.

Another player worth noting, who is no longer in the rankings, is the previously No 6 overall player Jud Fabian. Fabian officially enrolled early at Florida and has been as impressive as he has been throughout his high school career batting .298 with five doubles, two home runs and eight RBIs through 10 games with the Gators.

Brennan Malone, Hunter Barco and Tyler Callihan all remain in the top five and have all been off to hot starts early this spring. Perhaps the player with the most early helium though is now No 5, RHP Matt Allen. Allen, a physical right-hander has been the talk of the scouting community early this season and our PBR Florida staff will be on hand to see him on March 12th as his fastball has been said to be up to 97 mph early this spring.
