With the end of the private school season, playoff baseball has arrived in Virginia and DC. Over the weekend, the WCAC finished its championship and No. 9 St. John's College won its fourth straight title on a walk off home run in the twelfth inning of game three of the Championship Series. The VISAA playoffs begin this week, look for our Preview on Tuesday as we prepare for what should be a fun weekend at Shepherd Stadium.

The Top 10 saw very little change, with Liberty Christian remaining No. 1 and Lake Braddock at No. 2. No. 4 James River (Midlothian) is still unbeaten against Virginia opponents and No. 3 St. Christopher's has just one loss this spring, to No. 5 Benedictine.

Most of the Power 25 took care of their business last week, with the big game of the week being new No. 6 Riverside avenging an earlier loss to No. 15 Woodgrove on Tuesday to take control of the Dulles District. 

Entering the rankings this week is No. 24 Briar Woods. The defending 5A State Champions are currently on a six game winning streak that includes wins over No. 18 Freedom-South Riding and Stone Bridge.
