Welcome to the VA/DC Scoreboard. This year we will run our scoreboards on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We will always be sure to include scores and brief recaps of games involving Power 25 teams and will strive to get as many of the rest of the scores from the Commonwealth and the District as well.

No. 5 Potomac 1, Woodbridge 0
Senior Brody Mack (William & Mary) threw a no-hitter, allowing just one walk while striking out 8. Woodbridge starter Bryce King held Potomac to just one run on 3 hits in 5 innings. Ben Thomas had two doubles and the lone run in the game.

No. 14 Lake Braddock 5, Hayfield 0
Three pitchers combined on a 1-hitter with Lyle Miller-Green (George Mason) throwing the last four innings and striking out 8. Miller-Green also had a triple and Ryan Cuadros had 2 RBIs and Connor O'Grady-Walsh was 1-3 with a double and an RBI.

No. 20 Jefferson Forest 2, Staunton River 1
Lucas Bosiger delivered a walk-off single for the Cavaliers as they won another tight game. Kyle McGehee struck out 6 in a complete game win, allowing just two hits. Jacob Reynolds was 2-3 with two doubles and an RBI.

No. 21 Menchville 9, Bethel 4
Phillip Forbes V (James Madison) allowed 1 run on 3 hits in five innings. Ahmaad Goldson was 2-4 with a home run and 3 RBIs and Kody Abrisz also had a home run while going 2-3. Kade Abrisz was 3-4 with 2 RBIs. Bethel's Brandon Parks had a home run.

No. 25 Cape Henry Collegiate 4, St. Christopher's 1
Senior Aiden Kuhle (Roanoke) struck out six in a complete game four-hitter and also drove in two runs and had a double. Junior Dane Hoggard (Seton Hall) was 2-4. Patrick Routsis (Virginia Tech) struck out 10 in six innings in taking the tough-luck loss.

No. 25 Cape Henry Collegiate 8, Steward 4
Sophomore Kyle Edwards was 3-4 with 3 RBIs and freshman Josh Holland was 2-3 with a double and an RBI. Senior William Glazebrook (UNC Pembrooke) had a home run for Steward while going 2-2 with 2 walks.

Senior Brooks Mazey (Randolph-Macon) was 1-2 with a double and 2 RBIs and fellow senior Carson Jones (Virginia Tech) was 2-3 with a double and 3 RBIs.

No. 11 Liberty Christian 10, Appomattox County 0
Senior Emmanuel Johnson (Liberty) struck out 8 in five innings of 2-hit ball while also going 2-4 at the plate. Pell Collins (Liberty) hit a home run and Quade Tomlin (Liberty) was 3-3 with a double.

No. 15 Highland 1, South Dade (FL) 0
Junior Blake Fisher threw a complete game three-hitter and drove in the game's lone run in the Hawks' walk-off victory.

Jack Mardigian was 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Caleb Gorman was 2-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

Brentsville District 4, No.18 Fauquier 0
Junior Vince DiMauro and senior Jake DeLisi (King) combined to throw a no-hitter for the Tigers, with DiMauro striking out 13 in six innings. Luke Binstead was 2-2 with a double and 2 RBIs.

Brayden Hodges and Tyler Cotten hit home runs for the Clippers while Zach Wojnarowski (VMI) was 2-4 with a double and 2 RBIs.

No. 5 Potomac 10, Forest Park 1
Potomac junior Braden Mack and Jackson Lowery combined on a no-hitter, the second game in a row a Potomac has held an opponent hitless. Mack struck out 10 in five innings while also going 2-2 at the plate with a walk and a double. Ben Thomas was 1-2 with a walk and 4 RBIs.

No. 8 Salem (Roanoke) 13, Hidden Valley 3
Parker Stallard (Virginia Tech) was 2-2 with a triple, a walk, and 2 RBIs. Zac Honaker, Caleb Lingenfelter, and Matt Wright also had multi-hit games for the Spartans.

No. 9 Battlefield 6, Woodbridge 5
Battlefield walked another game off as junior Peter Benavides delivered a 2 RBI double in the bottom of the ninth to end the game. Benavides finished the game 2-5 with 3 RBIs. Seniors Carter Cunningham (Gardner-Webb), Zach Agnos (East Carolina), and Craig Miles combined to draw 10 walks in the game with Cunningham going 1-1 with triple, 3 RBIs, and 4 walks. Cole Snead threw four strong innings of relief for the Bobcats, striking out 5 and allowing just 2 hits. Magnus Ellerts (Harford CC) struck out 10 in 4.1 innings for Woodbridge.

No. 10 Deep Run 13, Hermitage 3
Nick Noonan was 4-5 with 5 RBIs and missed the cycle by a home run. Brooks Mazey (Randolph-Macon) was 3-5 with 3 RBIs and Tyler Bradt (VMI) was 2-4 with two doubles and 3 RBIs.

No. 11 Liberty Christian 22, Liberty (Bedford) 3
Pell Collins (Liberty) hit another home run in a 2-2, 3 walk night while Quade Tomlin (Liberty) had 2-2, two walk, 4 RBI night himself and senior Jacob Williams (Middle Tennessee St) was 2-3 with 6 RBIs and a triple.

Senior Drew Harlow (Radford) struck out 9 in a five inning, 3-hit shutout. Dylan Clark was 3-4 with a double and 2 RBIs.

No. 13 Mills Godwin 9, JR Tucker 1
Senior Spencer Rife (Randolph-Macon) struck out 6 in four innings of one-hit ball. Junior Bryce Safferwich (James Madison) was 2-4 with a home run and 4 RBIs while senior Noah Cornwell (James Madison) was 2-2 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI.

No. 14 Lake Braddock 5, St. Alban's 2
The Bruins rallied with 4 runs in the bottom of the sixth with a Ryan Caudros two-run single to give them the lead and a Bobby Leitzel (Marymount) two-run triple to add insurance to that lead. Leitzel ended up 2-4 and senior Lyle Miller-Green (George Mason) had a home run and struck out 2 in the last inning to get the save. Clark Klitenic (Duke) struck out 9 in four innings for St. Alban's

Miami Palmetto (FL) 4, No. 15 Highland 3
Senior Luke Burner (West VA Wesleyan) held Miami Palmetto to two hits in five innings. Eddie Gimbel was 3-4 with 2 RBIs and Joe DeBardi (Mount St. Mary's) was 2-4 with a double and a stolen base.

Senior Hunter Entsminger (James Madison) threw a 3-hit shutout with 9 strikeouts. Entsminger, Payne Bauer, and Michael Usa each had two hits for Sherando and Usa drove in two runs.

Evan Heine was 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Carter Lovasz also had 2 RBIs while striking out 7 in a six inning complete game.

Connor Maggi allowed 1 hit and struck out 8 in four innings for JF while Lucas Bosiger was 2-2 with a grand slam and 6 RBIs total. 

Loudoun Valley 9, No. 22 Riverside 3
Senior Michael Grupe (Virginia Tech) struck out 11 in a complete game win for the Vikings while also going 2-4 with a double. Five Vikings had RBIs and Aaron Lautenschlager was 1-1 with 3 walks and an RBI out of the leadoff spot. Patrick Sheffield was 2-3 with a double for the Rams.

No. 23 James Madison 14, McLean 0
A 10-run third inning pushed Madison by McLean as Josh Gjormand (Lynchburg) and two other Warhawks combined on the five inning 3-hitter. Carson Hoffman was 2-2 with 2 RBIs as ten different Warhawks had an RBI in the game.
