2018 OUTLOOK
"We enter 2018 much like we did the 2014 season, losing 6 starters and our top three pitchers. But like the 2014 season when we went 24-7 and won our conference, we have a good group of young players who understand our culture and expect to win.

Our top 4 pitchers will compete well and have good enough stuff to give us a chance to win every time they are on the mound. Defensively, we return two 2nd team all-staters in catcher Dean Bedell and 1st baseman Justin Cox. Our middle infield will be athletic and our outfield, anchored by returning starter Kyle Christensen in center field, will be very quick.

Offensively we will have more team speed this year throughout the lineup and our middle of the order players are proven run producers. Our offensive success in 2018 will be determined by how effective our 1-2 and 8-9 hole players are at getting on base at a high level." Head Coach Bob Mantell
