November 11, 2021
As the fall winds down and players are settling in to their offseason workouts, we take our first look at the 2025 class rankings, a list that will continue to evolve as these young players physically mature. Several of these young men will step foot on the high school diamond for the first time this coming spring with a handful being counted on to produce in this, their freshman year.
One thing is certain, Mississippi is loaded with potential big arms and dual prospects.
Keep an eye out over the next few days for the 2025 National Player Rankings…
At the top of the list for Mississippi is Konnor Griffin of Jackson Prep. Griffin, potentially the top dual prospect in the country, should step right in and contribute to a Jackson Prep program looking for it’s 5th consecutive state title. With a big arm, explosive bat, and blazing speed, look for Griffin to settle in near the top of the 2025 national player rankings as well.

A pair of twins from Purvis lock up the #2 and #3 spots in the state. Jacob and Joseph Parker, both recent Mississippi State commits, are completely different players at this stage in their development. Jacob, an outfielder, carries the big frame with a power bat and strong arm, while Joseph settles in at SS with a smooth glove and easy fluid movements. This combo is gonna be fun to watch.
