All throughout the year we have had our eyes on the 2019 class, as we covered the MHSAA and MAIS High School season in the spring, held numerous showcases/events and covered many tournaments across the state in the summer, fall and winter. These proved valuable for many 2019 prospects, with many names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. It’s been a busy three months since the last update to the Class of 2019 rankings. As this group prepares for one final season of high school baseball we present the updated rankings for one of the final times.

The top of the list remains largely intact with a few significant risers and additions to the list, which has expanded to 170 players. Showcasing the depth of the class, over 100 prospects from the state have already made their pledges to play at the next level, including 23 division 1 commitments while 8 of those being to SEC schools.

Uncommitted OF Jerrion Ealy (Jackson Prep HS, MS) remains at the top of the list while C/RHP Logan Tanner (George County HS, MS) a Mississippi State recruit and C Hayden Dunhurst (Pearl River Central, MS), a Mississippi recruit, hold down the Number 2 and 3 spots respectively.
