Nevada - Initial Class of 2019 Rankings

Buddy Gouldsmith
PBR Nevada Staff

The initial 2019 class ranking for PBR Nevada is hurler heavy with 8 of the top 10 players earning their spots on the mound.  The eight pitchers as well as the two position players each secured a spot in the Prep Baseball Report Class of 2019 Top 500. PBR Nevada’s 2019 class is led by the large frame of Aaron Roberts.  Roberts, a University of California commit, is high school two-way player (#192 nationally) and has been seen up to 96 this fall.  Roberts is followed by projection right-hander DJ Jefferson (#222 nationally). Physically Jefferson is exactly what you are looking for and has been known touch the mid-90s mark as well.  The first position player to appear in the initial PBR Nevada 2019 class ranking is Peyton Cole (#273 nationally). Cole is a left hand hitting, projectable shortstop.  A Brigham Young (BYU) commit, Cole will likely serve a church mission prior to ever showing up on campus at BYU, but when he does, he has a chance to hit for average and power.  The rest of the Top 10 is:
