Our weekly Diamond Notes highlights players that were nominated by their coaches for SoCal Player of the Week award. 

The following players had impressive performances during the week of April 30 - May 6, and though not selected as the Player of the Week, they earned special recognition. Players are listed in no particular order.

Chase Pedersen (Arcadia HS): The senior went 5/6 in 2 games vs. Pasadena, scoring 3 times and driving in 2 runs. He also pitched 2 innings of relief without surrendering a run.

Dominick Tello (Arcadia HS): The junior 3B went 4/7 in 2 games vs Pasadena, driving in 3 runs, including a 2B and a 3B in Thursday's contest.

Dustin Allen (Arcadia HS): The sophomore OF went 4-for-7 in 2 games vs Pasadena, including a 2B, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Cole Winn (Orange Lutheran HS): CG 3H, 0R, 0BB, 13K vs Mater Dei Tuesday, May 1

Christian Rodriguez (Orange Lutheran HS): CG 7H, 2ER, 2BB, 7K on Friday May 4 vs. Mater Dei

Michael Kerner (Laguna Beach HS): 5-7 with 2 runs and 2 rbi.

Noah Carter (Cypress HS): The sophomore OF was 4-for-5 with a walk and a stolen base. 

Braden Murphy (Cypress HS): The junior shortstop was 4-for-7 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and 3 Stolen Bases.

Cameron Repetti (Cypress HS): The junior RHP threw a CG on 76 pitches striking out 9 and allowing 3 Hits.

Zach Reitmeyer (Tri-City Christian): In two 2 games vs Escondido charter, Reitmeyer was 4-for-6 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI. He was also 1-0 on the mound throwing a CG shutout with 10 strikeouts.

Korey Shephard (Valley View HS): The junior threw a CG shutout allowing only one hit while walking one and striking out seven. He was also 1-for-3 at the plate.

Isaiah Woods (Hoover HS): The sophomore threw 7 inning allowing two unearned runs and taking a tough loss.
