At the plate, starts open, minimal load with pre-pitch rhythm in hands, showed range in swing, hands manipulate the barrel, quick bat speed, line drives to all fields, high finish.  On the infield, quick to the ball with footwork, clean exchange, short high three quarters arm slot, quick catch and throw, mostly accurate throws, 81 mph positional velocity. On the infield, 72 mph positional velocity, high three quarters release, clean transfer with quick release after catch, fluid footwork to the ball, fields ball in athletic position, mostly accurate throws.

 

 

2/24/18 - Everard is a slender 6-foot 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 4.37 home to first and has a 77 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, hands walk away from in line stride, short stride, body stays under control, level path with high finish in hands, gap to gap approach.  In the outfield, high three quarters arm slot, quick catch and throw, fluid exchanges on time with fluid footwork, slender frame still developing with room to add strength, 71 mph positional velocity.
