6/13/17: 6-foot-1, 190 pound left-handed hitting first baseman showcased a wide setup with quick bat speed. Edgell went 3-4 with a triple, double, and a single in gameplay.  Possesses gap to gap power with high level barrel awareness.  He ran a 7.08 laser-timed 60yd dash.  Defensively, hands are sure with fluid transfer.   Flat footwork, average arm strength.  High exit velocity of 90mph. 

2/19/17: 6-foot-1, 190 pounds. Offensively, left-handed hitter hits from an athletic setup, long stride, good use of the lower half.  Maintains balance throughout the swing.  Above average bat speed, fluid rhythm, level swing plane. Barreled up the baseball to all fields during his BP, producing hard hit line drives.  Overall good approach at the plate.  Registered a high exit velocity of 86 mph.  Long, ¾ arm action.  Throws topped out at 80 mph.  Sure handed defender.  Ran a 7.10 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash. 

2/21/16: 6-foot-2, 200 pounder ran a 7.49-60.  Was 71 across the diamond.  At the plate hits from an open setup, long stride.  Average use of the lower half, good balance.  Above average bat speed.  Good approach.  Pull side hitter.
