Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 83 in the 2020 Illinois rankings. 6-foot, 165-pound, athletically-built, left-handed pitcher. Started on the mound for St. Laurence. Worked quick and efficiently in his three inning start. Quick side step delivery, works smooth and repeatable. Arm works loose and quick from an over-the-top slot; projects for more velocity as he matures. Fastball is live, velocity plays up, showed command, generated weak contact, sat 77-80 mph, touched 81 mph a few times. Curveball has 1/7 shape, down in the zone, used it to put hitters away, feel, 62-66 mph. Slider tight break, thrown from same arm action and window as fastball, only went to it a few times, 72-73 mph. Kept hitters off balance all game, knows how to pitch. Final line: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 5K. Follow 2020 left-handed pitcher.


Uncommitted junior. 6-foot0, 165-pound left handed pitcher, oozes pitch-ability on the bump, efficient and effective. Came in relief against a rolling St. Rita team that put up five runs in one and two/third innings, stranded a pair to end the bleeding. Went 5.1 innings on short rest scattering three hits, only allowing two runs on two walks with three punch outs (44 of 64 pitches for strikes). Competes in-game, plays with controlled fire and paces the game, multiple hitters asked for time, gets it and goes. Quick side step into low hanging knee balance, high front side, strides in-line toe landing closed, some head whack, spins to third after release. Arm plays long full and slightly firm, over the top slot. Filled the zone with all his pitches, close misses when out of the zone. Fastball was 76-78 mph early, climbed to 78-80 mph as he got going, slight run, missed barrels. Curveball was only other pitch recorded, 62-63 with depth, flipped in the zone effectively.

2/10/19 - 6-foot-0, 165-pound left-handed pitcher, lean frame. Works with tempo, high front side, lands square, and works online, some effort. Long arm action, over the top slot. Fastball is mostly straight, flashed slight run, showed above average feel, 80-82 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, near fastball arm speed, short break, dropped for strikes, 65-67 mph. Changeup played down with fade action, fastball arm speed, 72-74 mph.

9.16.18 - Uncommitted. 6-foot, 165-pound left-handed pitcher, wiry-thin frame. Delivered a dominant performance against a strong Legends Sun Devils team, striking out nine in four innings with no walks and two hits. FIlled up the strike zone with his fastball/curveball combination, getting lots of swing and misses on his 79-82 mph fastball. Works fast, rhythm in the delivery, hides the ball well coming out of a high slot. Fastball seemed to get up on hitters with some arm-side run when down in the zone. Opened the game with four straight punchouts. Lived off his fastball, mixed in a breaking ball with varying shape. Also showed a 74 mph changeup. 

7.18.18 - 6-foot, 165-pound, lanky, athletic left-handed two-way prospect. On the mound, long, loose arm action, slot varies between high ¾ and over-the-top, regular effort throughout. Tall and fall delivery, smooth rhythm, lands toe-closed, finishes crossing over towards third. Fastball, mostly straight, sat 81-82. Curveball, 1/7 shape, gradual break, feel for, commanded, 64-68. Changeup, mostly straight, 74-75. Cutter, slider-like, later and sharper break than curveball, downward action, 63-67. Defensively, long arm action, over-the-top slot, kept throws on target. Athletic defender, plays through the ball with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean on exchanges, 81 mph from the outfield. Offensively, left-handed, balanced setup, long leg lift stride, maintains good balance. Line drive approach, long barrel path through zone, fluid rhythm, 84 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.26 laser-timed 60.

2.18.18 - 6-foot, 165-pound left/left two-way player, lean slender build, profiles best on the mound. Delivery has some rhythm, hands work together with leg lift, loads balance position works directional to closed toe landing. Arm action is long, over the top slot. Fastball plays with slight arm side run, showed some feel around the zone, 76-77 mph, touched 78 mph. Curveball has feel, 12/6 action 63-65 mph. Slider is similar to curveball in action and velocity, 64-65 mph. Straight changeup has control, 72-74 mph. Hits from a wide setup, long stride. Path is long and fluid, opposite field contact. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is long, 79 mph from the outfield, actions played through the baseball at times. 7.53 runner in the 60.

7.24.17 - 6-foot, 160-pound left-handed pitcher. On the mound works from an over the top arm angle with a long, loose arm action. Tall and fall delivery with easy effort. Square landing working in line with home plate. Fastball was straight at 72-75 topping out at 77 mph for strikes. Curveball has 12-6 shape with gradual action at 55-59 mph. Changeup sat 66-69 mph.

1.15.17 - 6-foot, 155-pound left-handed pitcher, average frame. Delivery repeats, regular effort. Arm action is loose and easy, showed feel for the zone. Fastball is straight, 76-77 mph. Curveball has 1/7 shape, 66-68 mph, gradual action, showed feel. Changeup sinks, near fastball arm speed, 72-74 mph.
