The PBR Kansas 2022 Class Rankings have been updated after a baseball packed preseason and the first few weeks of the spring. There are still a good number of uncommitted players who will be able to help programs at the next level. Check out the five top uncommitted prospects and top five prospects in the class below.

Top 5 Prospects

Ben Bybee RHP / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2022

After a long comeback to the mound, Bybee has picked up where he left off with the addition of some strength to his physically impressive 6-foot-6, 225-pound frame. The Arkansas continues to prove he is an excellent strike thrower with multiple pitches and a clean arm action will low effort. Bybee has been featuring a fastball at 88-91 of late and has flashed a few 92. The curveball has true 12/6 shape and tight spin in the upper 70s as a real swing and miss pitch. Also mixes a slider and changeup to keep hitters off balance. Bybee was a standout at the Super 60 and has been garnering pro attention this spring.

Caden Marcum RHP / OF / Paola, KS / 2022

Its all about projection for the 6-foot-5 165-pound Tennessee commit. A very lean, long, and athletic arm, Marcum has shown flashes of brilliance with the fastball and off-speed with reports up to 94 mph. As the right-hander becomes stronger and more consistent, he could quickly becoming a rising star.

Dylan Dreiling OF / LHP / Hays, KS / 2022

A two sport star, Dreiling is a competitive gamer with a history of winning The Tennessee commit had a strong showing at the Super 60 this preseason. The left handed hitter shows a rotational swing with natural lift that can do big damage to the pull side.

Cooper Kelly SS / 2B / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2022

The Kansas commit is one of the most steady players in the region both defensively at SS and as a switch hitter. Kelly is sure handed with a well above average arm, 88 mph, across the infield with accuracy in the infield. With the bat, Kelly typically takes patient at bats and shows barrel control from both sides.

Hamin Feliz OF / Life Prep Academy, KS / 2022

Still polishing his game, Feliz is arguably the most projectable position player in the class at 6-foot-4, 200-pounds. The L/L outfielder runs a 7.12 60 and shows an above average arm from the OF at 89 mph. Offensively, the Johnson County commit had one of the most impressive rounds of BP we saw this year, posting an average exit velo of 93.5 mph with a max of 97.7.

Top 5 uncommitted

Drew Norris RHP / Blue Valley, KS / 2022

One of the key pieces on the mound for Blue Valley as they made their championship run last spring, Norris remains the top uncommitted player in the state's 2022 class. The right hander features an upper 80s fastball with some life and a swing and miss slider in the mid 70s.

Harrison Juhl 3B / 1B / Lawrence Free State, KS / 2022

The 5-foot-11, 187-pound corner infielder had an strong showing at the MOKAN Preseason All-State on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the right-handed hitter posted an 88 mph exit velo in BP. Defensively, he showed soft hands and a big arm across the diamond at 87 mph.

Lukas Dudek OF / 2B / Shawnee Mission West, KS / 2022

After missing time last year, Dudek has came back stronger and faster than before. Dudek posted a very quick 4.27 home-to-first, 86 outfield velo, and 86 mph tee exit velo. Dudek barreled every pitch he saw in BP to the middle of the field on a line and showed accuracy in his outfield throws.

Nick Trehey C / RHP / St. James, KS / 2022

A 6-foot-1, 200-pound all around solid athlete. Trehey took a strong round of BP at the Cavaliers scout day with much more pop than his 80 mph tee exit velo would suggest. Trehey also ripped off a 7.15 60. Most impressively was his work behind the plate where he showed advanced arm strength at 78 mph with throws on the bag and well above average receiving.

Samuel Fox C / 2B / De Soto, KS / 2022

The top pop time of any of the uncommitted players in KS, Fox takes pride in his work behind the dish and it shows. Fox posted showcase pop of 1.95-2.02 with all of his throws on the bag at the Mokan Top Prospect Games. Fox also posses advanced blocking and receiving. Offensively, the right-handed hitter uses a simple swing to line balls in the middle of the field with a top BP exit velo of 91 mph.
