Risers

There are always players that make impressive jumps between rankings that really standout as the move up the board. Here are just a few of the top ranked and biggest movers from this update.

Victor Christal RHP / C / Bishop Miege , KS / 2024

Though only up 6 spots, Christal rising from 9 to 3 is as impressive as any jump in this rankings considering the players he had to pass to do it. Christal saw not only an uptick in velo this summer (touching 94) but in command and game management as well.

Rocco Loffredo RHP / 1B / Fort Scott, KS / 2024

The projection has always been obvious with Loffredo, but he makes a jump to 15 as some of that projections becomes reality with his fastball up to 90 and plenty more to dream on from his frame and loose arm.

Griffin Allen RHP / OF / Blue Valley North, KS / 2024

It should be no surprise to anyone that follows high school baseball to see Allen's name shooting up the rankings. Statistically as good as anyone in the state this spring and summer, the recent Hutch commit is poised to have a monster senior year.

Ronnie Ross Jr 1B / OF / FL Schlagle, KS / 2024

Ross makes one of the biggest leaps in the rankings moving over 80 spots. After polishing up his swing, Ross proved he could hit for power and average this summer and landed a commitment to Southern University.

Cooper Schreiber RHP / RHP / Mill Valley , KS / 2024

Schreiber makes the biggest jump in this rendition of the rankings as he made huge strides on the mound where he is now showing off a power sinker in the mid 80s. Look for Schrieber to continue to rise as he polishes his craft on the mound.

Newcomers

We contestant strive to see as many players as many times as possible so it is always exciting when we see a player for the first time who makes a splash into the rankings. Below are some of the top ranked newcomers to the rankings.

Nathan Tajchman OF / Bishop Carroll, KS / 2024

Tajchman had a monster spring leading Bishop Carroll to the 5A State Championship. An advanced runner with barrel contorll, Tajchman is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state.

Justin Zerger OF / RHP / Newton, KS / 2024

Zerger burst onto the scene with a standout performance at the MOKAN Upperclass Games. A two-way prospect, Zerger was especially impressive on the mound where he commanded the zone with a FB that sat in the mid 80s.

Jarren Hay 3B / SS / Olathe West, KS / 2024

Hay put up all-around solid numbers at the Building Champions Scout Day and there is likely much more to come from his 6-4 190-pound frame. Hay could easily continue to climb the rankings and is a must see prospect this Fall and Spring.
