The North Texas Underclass Games will feature the best identified Class of 2019, 2020, and 2021 prospects on Saturday, July 22 at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium, home of Texas Christian University Baseball.

Highlighting the rosters from below are several shortstops, including Cole Posey, Tyler Wade, and Josh Bartolacci. LHP Jack Hattrup has a high ceiling, as does RHP Tyler Morgan. Included in this group are two catchers that stood out this spring in Joey Crisci and Luke Ely. Cal Martin is a corner bat ranked No. 61 in Texas with a projectable frame, while Wyatt Rohmer has all around athleticism and strength.

The recruiting process has accelerated dramatically in recent years, to the extent that many prospects have been giving verbal commitments early in their sophomore years. This event will help sort out the top prospects in the state at an earlier age.

Additionally, the event will be used as an identifier for the PBR Future Games, which is the premier summer scouting event for incoming juniors. The PBR Future Games, is a free event that features the best incoming junior prospects from our 30-plus states. Last year’s PBR Future Games had 120 colleges from all over the country in attendance.  

The Underclass Games will be promoted on the Prep Baseball Report’s website. The Prep Baseball Report is subscribed to by more than 800 colleges and pro scouts across the country. All results will be posted on the site, along with players’ highlights.
