Committed to play at the University of Illinois, Campbell will be in attendance at the Super 60 Pro Showcase this February. Currently ranked No. 5 in Wisconsin and No. 111 in the PBR Overall Ranks. 6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting catcher with a strong, durable frame and strength in the forearms and lower half. One of the top defensive backstops in the Midwest. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Quick out of the crouch with fluid footwork, gains ground towards second base. Active blocker. Popped 1.87-1.98 and threw 80 mph from the crouch. Accurate throws with carry. Offensively, crouched slightly open setup. Short toe tap stride with good balance. Line drive hitter works gap to gap with a short, level swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 97 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.11.
