It was a busy day in the state of Virginia at the 2018 MLB Amateur Draft. players were drafted over 40 rounds on the three day event. Virginia was well represented with 36 players drafted either from, or with ties to, the commonwealth and DC area.

  • George Washington, Liberty University, and VMI were tied for second most with three apiece
