Pennsylvania Draft Recap: Day Three

The 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft wrapped up yesterday with 30 rounds of picks that included 20 players from Pennsylvania being selected.
The day began with infielder Sean Guilbe (Muhlenberg) being selected in the 12th round by the Padres with the 351st pick of the draft. Malvern Prep RHP Billy Corcoran (Malvern Prep) was the final Pennsylvania prospect to hear his name called when the Rangers selected him with pick No. 1079 in the 36th round.
Over the course of the three days of the draft a total of 28 Pennsylvania prospects were selected. Six of those prospects were current high school seniors with the remaining 22 coming from the college ranks.
The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference continued to show its strength as one of the top NCAA Division II leagues in the country with a total of seven PSAC players being selected.
Following is a look at the 15 college prospects and five high school prospects from Pennsylvania drafted on day three.
