With the playoffs just about fully underway in Virginia, we will begin running our scoreboard daily.

Power 25 Rankings in the scoreboard reflect where a team was ranked at the time the game was played.

DCSAA State Championship

Woodrow Wilson 5, St. Alban’s 4
A rain-delayed start was followed by a marathon game that went nine innings. St. Alban's took a 4-3 lead in the top of the ninth, but Wilson rallied and Sam Himmelfarb delivered a two-out, two run double to walk the game off and clinch the Championship for the Tigers. Himmelfarb went 2-5 with 4 RBIs in the game and Nathan Wagner was 2-3 with a BB. Will Bouma threw 4 innings of strong relief, allowing just one run to earn the win. For St. Alban's, Clark Klitenic (Duke) allowed 3 runs in 8 innings while striking out 11. Chase Daneker was 3-5 with a 2B and drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth.

Tomas Sanchez (VCU) was 3-4 with 3 RBIs and Zack Donovan () was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs.

Baylor Cumbea was 3-3 and Evan Heine had 3 RBIs for the Trojans.
