Signing Period - Division 1 (Out of Region) Recruiting Class Breakdown

The NCAA signing period is from November 11th-18th. With the start of the signing period upon us, we look to break down of host of Division 1 commitments for out of region commits, where they are headed and what tools they will bring with them.

Albany

Jeremy Delamota OF / Berkshire School, MA / 2021

A physical right-handed hitter with a ton of feel for the bat. The foot speed is solid and he should fit in on the corner in the outfield.

College of Charleston

Asa Runge LHP / 1B / Pinkerton Academy, NH / 2021

A potential 2-way guy who swings the bat and jumps on the bump as well. The bat has come on as he should make an impact with the bat early in the college campaign.

Columbia

Anton Lazits SS / 3B / Taconic, MA / 2021

Anton is an athletic middle infielder who shows well with the bat.The skill set is advanced and he should be able to step in at Columbia and make an immediate impact on the Ivy League.

Dayton

Matthew Maloney C / Central Catholic, MA / 2021

A left-handed hitting catcher with a good feel for the game. The skill set behind the dish is excellent and he showed clean hands at the dish.

David Pedanou SS / 3B / Doherty Memorial, MA / 2021

A late blooming right-handed hitter with his best days in front of him. The hands work at the plate and the skill set is advancing very well.

DUKE

Jonathan Santucci OF / LHP / Phillips Academy Andover, MA / 2021

A potential 2-way guy headed to the ACC to play for Duke. The bat plays and he has made a jump on the bump.

Elon

Shea Sprague LHP / Boston College, MA / 2021

A left-hander with a ton of potential. The arm is clean and he should impact the Elon program early on.

Fairleigh Dickinson

Gavin Price SS / RHP / Quabbin Regional, MA / 2021

A potential 2-way guy with his best days in front of him. The arm is clean and with the addition of weight on the frame he could make another velocity jump.

Fordham

Sebastian Mexico OF / RHP / Phillips Academy Andover , MA / 2021

A left-handed hitter outfielder with a plus feel for hitting. Shows the potential to hit for power as well.

Ryan Meyer SS / 2B / Shrewsbury, MA / 2021

An athletic right-handed hitter with a ton of potential with the bat. The frame should fill out nicely and he could be a physical offensive player.

Georgetown

Matthew Sapienza RHP / 3B / Phillips Academy Andover, MA / 2021

A very physical right-hander pitcher who has made a  velocity jump this past summer. The secondary stuff has cleaned up and he should impact Georgetown early in the campaign.

Georgia Tech

Aeden Finateri RHP / Avon Old Farms, CT / 2021

A right-handed pitcher, a power arm at 90-93 mph, mixing in a true curveball, high pitch-ability. The frame is durable and strong, should log a good amount of innings at the next level.

Long Island

Jack Power C / 3B / Northampton, MA / 2021

A lean left-handed hitting catcher with potential in the bat. The frame can add weight and strength to it as he matures in age.

Marist

Nathan Lincoln SS / 2B / Canton, CT / 2021

A right-handed hitting middle infielder who can really run, a legit 6.6 runner. Will transition most likely to the outfield. Shows ability to make contact, line drive to the gaps, can change the game with his legs.

Jack Bowery LHP / OF / Fairfield College Preparatory School, CT / 2021

A left-handed pitcher, low to mid 80’s fastball, pounds the zone with a two-pitch mix, works very fast. Will contribute right away out of the bullpen.

Missouri

Carlos Pena OF / RHP / Salisbury, CT / 2021

A power bat from the left-side, major bat speed, showing hard contact at all events. Projects out to be a corner outfielder, with ability to help at first bat. Potential to be a draft pick in 2021.

Julian Stevens OF / RHP / Amity, CT / 2021

A right-handed hitting outfielder, top tool is the bat, can really hit, shows an advanced approach for a high school kid, with power potential. Runs and throws above average, should help right away for Missouri.

Navy

Frederick Rushton SS / OF / Doherty Memorial, MA / 2021

A quick twitch and versatile athlete. He can play anywhere on the field, his athleticism is legit and he is a plus runner.

North Alabama

Luke Lappe 1B / OF / Xavier, CT / 2021

Physical right-handed hitter, plus pop to pull side, potential to really hit at the next level.

North Carolina Central 

Matthew Puello SS / OF / St. Thomas More School, CT / 2021

A right-handed hitting middle infielder, super athletic with strength. A 6.8 runner, with a plus arm across the diamond, look for him to make an immediate impact.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE

Sam Griesbauer RHP / 1B / Falmouth, MA / 2021

Long and lean right-hander with a ton of potential. The arm is clean and he should be able to step in and get innings immediately for the Wolfpack.

NOTRE DAME

Jack Penney SS / 3B / Phillips Andover Academy, MA / 2021

A left-handed hitting infielder who is one of the better players in New England. The frame is starting to fill out as he showed power this past summer at the plate.

Old Dominion

Henry Hersum RHP / The Prout School, RI / 2021

A right-handed pitcher, large projectable frame, whippy arm action from a higher slot, fastball up to 92 mph. Look for him to take another jump, still very raw.

Penn State

Anthony Steele 1B / LHP / Shelton, CT / 2021

A two-way player shows big power at the plate from the left-side. Power arm off the mound, 90-91 mph, breaking ball will need to be adjusted at the next level.

Purdue

Zach Fletcher LHP / OF / Bedford, NH / 2021

A potential 2-way guy headed to the Midwest. He is a very skilled player who can do multiple things on the diamond.

Richmond

DJ Pacheco SS / 3B / St. John's Prep, MA / 2021

A versatile athletic middle infielder with smooth actions as the frame should fill nicely. The bat should play early in his career.

Jake Elbeery SS / 3B / Austin Prep, MA / 2021

A big and left-handed hitter with power potential. The frame still has room to grow.

Seton Hall

Jack Wentworth OF / South Kingstown, RI / 2021

A right-handed hitting outfielder, toolsy type play, upper 80’s arm, runs well at 6.6-6.7. With added strength turns himself into a potential pro. The potential is off the charts.

Patrick D'Amico 3B / SS / St. John's, MA / 2021

A very athletic right-handed hitting infielder. Love the potential of the bat and the ability to defend. The frame can add weight and strength to it.

Stony Brook

Dawson Logie RHP / 1B / Loomis Chaffee, CT / 2021

A thick, strong right-handed pitcher, mid to upper 80’s fastball. The breaking pitch is hard, a true curveball, look for him to help right away.

TENNESSEE

Christian Moore SS / RHP / Suffield Academy, CT / 2021

A right-handed hitting middle infielder, big time athlete, with all the tools, swing is advanced, showing strength to all fields. Projects out to stick on the left-side of the infield, big arm across the diamond. Look for him to be a draft pick in 2021.

UMBC

Nicholas Remy RHP / 1B / The Winchendon School, MA / 2021

A long and lanky right-hander with an extremely quick arm. The projection is through the roof for him as the frame can add weight and strength.

USC

Harrison Feinberg OF / King, CT / 2021

A right-handed hitting outfielder, has explosive actions, 6.7-6.8 runner, plus power to all fields, with an above average arm, projecting out to be a right-fielder at next level. Look for him to contribute right away, potential to be a high level draft pick at some point.

VANDERBILT

Joshua Baez OF / Dexter, MA / 2021

A physical and ultra talented player on the mound and at the plate. He is one of the better players in the country.

Miles Langhorne RHP / Greenwich, CT / 2021

A right-handed pitcher, frame is large, with room for added weight, long and loose arm action from a higher slot, working down hill. The fastball is 90-93 mph, hard biting slider. Still raw with delivery at times, super upside to him, big time arm.

VIRGINIA

Ryan Minckler RHP / Portsmouth, NH / 2021

UVA bound, the right-hander shows projection and a good feel for pitching. The frame is long and lean, the pitchability has improved throughout the summer.

William and Mary

Luca Danos SS / 3B / Noble and Greenough, MA / 2021

An athletic right-handed hitter with a ton of potential at the plate. The skill set allows him to play multiple positions in the infield. The bat will get him in the lineup early.
